The Inn

Located just 15 miles south of Hood River, Oregon, and the Columbia River Gorge, the Old Parkdale Inn is a romantic and artistically decorated bed and breakfast in the heart of the Hood River Valley.  Each of our three guest rooms, all with private baths, are unique in their artists’ themes.  Monet, Gauguin, and O’Keeffe prints adorn the walls.  All have satellite reception, wall mount flat screen TVs, DVD and VHS players, microwaves, coffee makers, and refrigerators. Our spacious suites, Monet and O’Keeffe, have a additional living room.  Amenities include plush robes, complimentary toiletries, and beverages.  Access the high-speed wireless Internet, either in your room or sitting by the pond in our Adirondack chairs.  A guest laptop is available. Wake to freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast, prepared with the freshest fruits for which the Hood River Valley is famous. Breakfast is served in our dining room, or you may have it delivered to your room for complete privacy. Have your morning coffee in the gardens or on our deck.

As a retreat facility, the Old Parkdale Inn offers a tranquil setting for business meetings and small group gatherings. We are committed to business practices that promote the sustainability of our planet’s natural resources, making our world a cleaner, healthier place to live. We are members of the Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild Green Inspection Program. We pride ourselves in preparing your meals with locally grown fruits and vegetables, and organic ingredients whenever possible. Our cleaning products are all earth friendly, never harsh detergents, bleaches, and perfumed cleansers. We compost all food scraps, and we recycle. Guests have the opportunity to do their part to reduce waste and to recycle. The National Wildlife Federation has recognized our grounds as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
