The temperature dipped below 30° this morning. Twas 27° when I got up this morning to prep breakfast for our guests and Steve started the first fire in the wood stove. The simmer pot, with it’s herbs and spices diffused a beautiful aroma throughout the inn, leaving it smelling warm, fresh and cozy. And it was like the leaves were waiting for this cold snap as they’ve been falling fast all day. Got me thinking about a S’mores by the Fire Pit.
Book you stay this fall and let us know why you’d love to enjoy S’mores by the Fire Pit and we’ll include a complimentary S’mores Fireside Pack – Vanilla marshmallows, homemade graham crackers, and squares of milk chocolate. Every piece is handcrafted by Columbia Gorge Confections with quality ingredients to make the most incredible s’more you have ever created. Ready for you to assemble and roast over the fire in our gardens.
Steve will get a crackling fire going in the garden pit, you grab a throw or two, and I’ll deliver the S’mores. Nothing nicer on a quiet, crisp Parkdale evening.
