Gordon Creek Falls, for those looking for adventure in the Columbia River Gorge. A rough trail leads about 2/3 of the way to the falls, but the final climb is a bit of a scramble directly up the mossy, boulder strewn stream bed or scrambling up a herd path along the side of the canyon.
In the summer when the creek is running low, traveling directly up the stream is a cooling trek to this 148′ falls with 2 steps: 49′ and 99′ drops. Before the going gets really tough you’ll pass Emerald Falls on the way up the creek.
