Drive-Up Movies at the Sunshine Mills in The Dalles, Oregon
At the beginning of the pandemic, Sunshine Mill Winery in The Dalles converted its parking lot into a drive-in movie theater. A large screen was stretched across their towering grain silos and the parking lot prepared for vehicles. The first Drive-Up Movie at the Sunshine Mills was such a hit, bringing some “normalcy” to everyone’s lives, they’ve continued weekly showings. Thursday night will feature a “throwback”, Friday nights will be more adult-themed movies and Saturday night will be more kid-friendly themed movies. Your favorite movie goodies can be purchased as can items off their appetizer menu and wines.
Each movie will start at a different time depending on when the sun sets, so please pay attention to the check in time of the movie listed on the event page. The Sunshine Mill is about 40 minutes from the Old Parkdale Inn.
