Durst Energy LLC partnered with Tesla’s destination charging program to access additional resources to support installation. Certainly a joint effort to advance sustainable travel in Oregon.

Three Oregon Scenic Byways lead to the Old Parkdale Inn
Travel through the Columbia River Gorge on the Historic Columbia River Highway Scenic Byway, HCRH, and around majestic Mt Hood on the Mt. Hood Scenic Byway. For the sustainable traveler the HCRH and the Mt Hood Scenic Byway have been combined to create one of six Electric Byways in Oregon, the Mt Hood and Columbia River Gorge Electric Byway.
Experience the rugged wilderness, fertile farmlands and charming small towns that lie just outside of Portland. Drivers of vehicles with a range of 60 miles or less should travel the Mt. Hood and Columbia River Gorge Electric Byway in the counter clockwise direction.
Folks passing through Parkdale can, while charging up, walk into town, less than two blocks, and choose between Solera Brewery, Apple Valley BBQ or the Mt Hood Creamery for a delicious meal, a cold beer, or a scoop of ice cream made fresh in house. Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, and Timberline Ski areas are short drives away as are the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood National Forest where trails and wildlife abound.
