Recycle those Corks from your fine Oregon Wine

As you uncork these fine wines, keep in mind the Oregon’s winemakers that are stewards of the land. Many use sustainable farming practices in their vineyards where they delicately nurture the vines to produce incredible wines.

ReCORK was founded by Canadian footwear brand SOLE in 2008 and quickly grew to become North America’s largest natural cork recycling program. With the help of an extensive network of Collection Partners they’ve collected more than 130 million natural wine corks for recycling to date.

An unharvested cork oak tree lives an average of around 75 years. That life span increases to 200, 250 or even longer when trees undergo regular bark harvests. This remarkable example of sustainable agriculture is just one of the reasons we love cork, and we think it’s a shame for this incredible natural material to go to waste! Give your natural wine corks a second life with us!

Find Cork Collection Boxes

Look for Cork collection boxes in grocery stores, wine and bottle shops, and wine tasting rooms across the country. Collection Partners can be found on the ReCORK locations finder, and include wineries, liquor stores, office spaces, grocery stores, and more. There are now 2 drop off locations in Hood River Oregon
