Apple Valley BBQ - serving top-quality meats, amazing side dishes and a hefty dose of small-town hospitality with their lunches and dinners.
Solera Brewery is located in the historic Valley Theater a couple doors down from our Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast. Try a Hedonist IPA, one of their seasonal beers, or a wild and sour fruit beer aged on local fruit. Gaze out over pear orchards toward the craggy North face of Mt. Hood from their beer garden.
Grateful Vineyard - It's only a 2.5 mile walk on a warm summer evening. Weaving together farming, fermentation and hospitality. Pizza, Salads, Wine, Cider, Beer
Just up the road toward Mt Hood is The Crooked Tree Tavern. We'd be amiss if we forgot to mention Saw Tooth Roadhouse. Lots of options in the Upper Hood River Valley
Hood River County has all the best of the Northwest food culture. Many of the restaurateurs, chefs, winemakers and coffee roasters in our region are here because they love the outdoors and it shows in the many dishes prepared from local, fresh ingredient.
You may opt to not have breakfast with us and instead have breakfast at Baseline Biscuits. They offer up a southern style menu featuring their own giant biscuits with all the fixings as well as some favorites like Chicken Fried Steak and Shrimp & Grits. They offer a limited brunch style cocktail menu along with local coffee, tea and our house hot chocolate blend.
Mt Hood Creamery – same building as Baseline Biscuits. Making hand crafted small batch ice creams and sorbets right in the heart of Mt Hood. Seasonal favorites like fresh Strawberry, Moby Mocha Chip, Blueberry Crisp, Huckleberry Lemonade and Salted Caramel, to name but a few.

The Hood River Fruit Loop is located in the beautiful Hood River Valley at the foot of majestic Mt. Hood offering you a variety of wines, fruits, vegetables, flowers, ciders, and food. Many outdoor adventures, such as kayaking, windsurfing, skiing, snow boarding, and hiking, await. Mt. Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, and Timberline Ski areas are only a short drive away, as is the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood National Forest where trails and wildlife abound.
